That emptiness isn't missing drawing: it's the day that already happened. The cap measures 240 units against the 340 of \u003cem\u003eDawn\u003c\/em\u003e's arc — the same light, lower, shorter, flatter.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnd the arcs above have flipped sign. In \u003cem\u003eDawn\u003c\/em\u003e they read +1, +2, +3: heights the sun still has to climb. Here they're −1 and −2: heights it has already left behind. Same language, spent day. The halftone inverts with it: the pattern that arrived in green in Dawn is dark ink here, breaking up as it rises until the paper is left on its own. The only thing still lit is a line of eucalyptus green at horizon height.
